Summary
This position performs business analysis work that involves gathering, developing, and documenting user requirements; reviewing, assessing, and developing business processes; creating and validating user acceptance testing; and performing post-implementation support of systems. The Business Analyst works to improve the quality of information technology solutions to meet business needs.
Responsibilities and Duties- Gather, analyze and document user requirements, business processes, and issues to automate or improve existing systems.
- Elicit and document business needs and requirements for new initiatives.
- Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance.
- Perform data discovery, analysis and modeling.
- Work closely with business owners and the IT Team.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.
- Sets high expectations and enforces standards to meet project timelines.
- Assists with project management for selected projects.
- Compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC-related laws and regulations as it applies
within the scope of this position, including but not limited to, prompt completion of required BSA/AML/OFAC training.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in Financial Services/Banking with a minimum of 2 years of recent relevant business analyst experience.
- Experience with data analysis and database queries (SQL).
- Excellent personal leadership.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills required.
- Solid project management skills and ability to prioritize. PMP certification is a plus.
- AddVantage or FIS experience is a plus.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
- Will occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Occasionally requires lifting objects that are 20 pounds to a height of 3-4 feet
