Description

National Airlines, based in Orlando, FL, operates passenger charter service as well as customized military and commercial air cargo carriages worldwide. National Airlines specializes in over-sized, time sensitive, and special handling requirements, utilizing 757-200, 747-400 and A-330 aircraft to accomplish its missions.


Job Title: Repair Administrator 


Location: Orlando, FL

Department: Materials

Reports To: Manager of Heavy Maintenance & Repairs

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Essential Functions:

  • Locates sources of supply and negotiating strategic agreements
  • Supports and implements recovery processes that ensure tactical recovery and includes strategic recovery.
  • Supports and implements Warranty and Repair unit metrics, which includes developing supplier metrics to drive best in class supplier performance.
  • Supports and implements supplier performance improvement plans to better support National's operation.
  • Identifies and implements internal supply chain process improvements.
  • Interfaces with Material Planning and Material Services units to drive efficiencies in the supply chain department.
  • Ensures warranty opportunities are fulfilled.
  • Repairs and replaces defective parts.
  • Compiles data on aircraft system reliability trends
  • Procures Parts that are deemed BER as replacements to keep the operation stock levels efficient.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize any job tasks given.
  • Coordinates, repairs, and troubleshoots with company and contract maintenance personnel.
  • Tracks all open Repair Orders and report on the status of units in service.
  • Prepares, issues, and tracks warranty reimbursement forms to ensure proper billing, payment, and close out of all open warranty repairs.
  • Reviews and analyzes repair quotations and components tear down and validate warranty decision.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related technical field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • 1 years of experience in either aviation, procurement, repair, or warranty experience required.
  • 1 years of experience with data analysis tools (i.e., MS Office, Alteryx, MS Access, SAP Business Objects, Crystal Reports, or equivalent) required.
  • 1 years of experience with Repair Order life cycle preferred
  • Good time management, customer services, communication, and organization skills
  • Detail Oriented
  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the National culture, that is, exhibit the National Airlines values of Safety, Caring, and Integrity.

  • Strong analytical skills and leadership skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Self-initiative and the ability to work independently with will supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle time sensitive and multi-faceted projects.
  • Excellent computer skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Must be a good team player with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to read & understand illustrated parts catalogs (IPC).

Hours and Location:

  • Hours, we are a 24/7 operation so flexibility to work nights/afternoons/weekends.
  • Location, Orlando, FL Corporate Office. This is not a remote position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting.
