Summary: The OT/IT Systems Administrator manages and maintains our operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the OT/IT systems that support core organizational functions.
Essential Functions:
- System Management: Installs, configures, and maintains OT/IT systems, including servers, networks, and software applications in the cloud and Physical IT/OT infrastructure.
- Security: Implements and manages security measures to protect OT/IT systems from cyber threats and ensures compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnoses and resolves hardware, software, and network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- User Support: Provides technical support and training to users, ensuring they can effectively utilize OT/IT systems.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitors system performance and implements improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Backup and Recovery: Manages data backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Documentation: Maintains detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborates with other IT team members to support various projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to export control requirements
- 3 or more years of experience as an IT/OT Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Azure Cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with network switches, firewalls, and security best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
- Working with OT/IT integrations a plus
- PKI experience is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network , Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
