Job Title: Quality Systems Administrator

Reports To: Senior Manager Quality Control

Essential Functions:
- Participates in the Company’s SMS in accordance with the responsibilities detailed in the SMS Manual
- Maintain personal training as issued by National Airlines.
- Responsible to ensure correct component, materials, and tooling part numbers are added to National Airlines inventory and maintenance tracking database, along with alternate/substitute part numbers
- Assist the Aircraft Records department with maintenance tracking system input as necessary
- Reviews components for applicable Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletin Status and Life Limitations and update the Airlines inventory and maintenance tracking database accordingly
- Responsible for creating aircraft component templates for configuration control in National Airlines aircraft electronic database
- Effectively perform work to meet deadlines and performance goals IAW Company policies and procedures
- System Matter Expert for the various computer resources used by the Quality departments. (Ex: AMOS, Log-Level, SharePoint)
- Key Support person for computer system used by Quality Personnel.
- Focal for implementation of new computer programs or revision of existing programs
- Train key personnel in computer systems used in the Quality Departments
- Performs all duties in compliance with General Maintenance Manual, Company policy and all applicable regulations, including proper completion of paperwork and forms related to assignments
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility: No
Qualifications & Skills:
- FAA Mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant rating preferred
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, and adept at learning and teaching new software
- 3-5 Years of Aviation Maintenance, Inspection, or Records Experience preferred
- Able to perform basic math
- Must have a basic knowledge and understanding of applicable 14 CFR and associated regulatory/governmental publications
- Must have a working knowledge of manufacturers manuals (IPC/AMM, CMM or OVH), with the ability to learn and use required technical manuals
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Work Environment:
- Generally quiet and in an office setting
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to sit at workstation, use keyboard and computer screen, and communicate by telephone and in person. Occasionally required to stand and walk throughout the facility
