Competency Assessment Program Assistant II Apply
Status: Non-Exempt
Location: Hybrid work model
Salary: $20.87-$24.17/hour
As the Competency Assessment (CA) Program Assistant II, you will assist the department with data entry, clerical, and support functions. You will work as a team member and have the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects. You will also work as a team member to assist Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGEC) and Exam Eligibility staff during peak times. You have experience working in an office setting and following an organization’s policy and procedures. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including clear note-taking and effective communication with teams. Good attention to detail and strong interpersonal and organizational skills are required, as well as good problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, data entry, and database management is preferred. You will also assist in other areas of the Association as needed.
Job Description
General Responsibilities
- Reports issues to FPGEC Manager.
- Participates in department meetings.
- Works closely with FPGEC staff, pulling files of foreign pharmacist applicants, prioritizing tasks for record keeping.
- Works closely with Exam Eligibility staff, evaluates college transcripts during peak times, uploads and downloads transcripts, and maintains candidate files.
- Reports concerns/issues to FPGEC Manager immediately.
Task Assistant
- Gathers support information and oversees the maintenance of files related to foreign pharmacy applicants.
- Scans and uploads documents for FPGEC in a timely manner; information is sensitive and highly confidential.
- Verifies and process students’ education (transcripts) and assists staff with eligibility processing for NAPLEX and MPJE exams in assigned jurisdictions, handling confidential information.
- Follows up on issues related to transcript evaluations and eligibility processing in a timely manner with exam eligibility staff.
Program Support
- Performs and assists with projects in CA department.
- Must be task-oriented and have the ability to provide assistance with different tasks as needed.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in fast-paced, changing environments.
- Communicates with internal and external staff as needed.
Administrative Support
- Pulls files to assist staff in completing FPGEC evaluations.
- Performs clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and mailing.
- Assists FPGEC staff with scanning and uploading candidate documents.
- Assists Exam Eligibility staff as needed.
Job Requirements
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of office experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
