Summary
The Executive Assistant, Finance will support the Finance Department and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / EVP of Operations. The position will support the CFO by maintaining their calendar, coordinating meetings, processing expense reports, and other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned. This position is also responsible for daily Membership and Trade Show payment applications and other Accounts Receivable related tasks.
Essential Functions
Coordinate meetings across the organization and with external parties on behalf of the CFO
Enter the CFO’s expense reports into Concur correctly and in a timely manner
Assist the CFO with ad-hoc requests and other general accounting duties as assigned
Ensure timely and accurate payment applications to Membership and Trade Show revenue orders in Salesforce Nimble and Map Your Show.
Coordinate with the bank to ensure deposit lockbox data imported into Nimble is complete and accurate
Complete and manage vendor payment portals and related account set up
Research and resolve payment application issues in a timely manner
Assist with recurring revenue journal entries
Sort and scan Finance’s incoming mail
Act as primary contact for NAB’s Accounts Receivable email inbox

Required Education and Experience
2 or 4 year degree required.
At least one year of related experience of C-suite support
Maintain a high level of confidentiality, customer-service oriented, and a team player
Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
Ability to complete high-volume repetitive tasks in a consistent manner.
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to be flexible and work well in a pressure-filled environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Preferred Education and Experience
Understanding of US GAAP preferred but not required
Experience with Salesforce Nimble, Map Your Show, Sage Intacct, BILL.com, and/or SAP Concur a plus.
Work Location and Schedule
Availability to work hybrid work schedule which includes at least three days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) in the Washington D.C. office.
