What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing and Communications Specialist position at National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians?
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to the Director, Marketing and Membership; helps execute annual marketing strategy; assists in promoting all programs, products, and services
- Collaborates with team to create and edit engaging content for print and digital platforms, to incorporate membership, education, advocacy, and event messaging
- Manages association’s social media channels; works with the Director, Marketing and Membership to create and implement a consistent and creative social media strategy designed for each channel’s unique audience; tracks metrics
- Supports administration of marketing campaign calendar; writes and edits copy; tracks key metrics
- Oversees development, production, and distribution of online publication, NAEMT News; writes original content; solicits and edits volunteer submissions; maintains archives
- Writes and edits website content with SEO in mind and / or coordinates with others producing content; coordinates design
- Works collaboratively with the podcast project team on publicizing and promoting
- Produces NAEMT’s Annual Report
- Tracks and analyzes communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies
- Provides support for other communication-related tasks and projects, as needed
- Manages association’s photo library and communications documents
- Oversees survey creation, deployment, and analysis for programs, products, and services as requested
- Stays up to date with current technologies and trends in online communities, social media, digital advertising, design tools, and applications
- Provides on-site support at NAEMT meetings and tradeshow exhibits, as needed
- Other duties, as assigned
