Stuart Hall School, an independent Episcopal day and boarding school serving grades 6-12, seeks a full-time Instructional Music Teacher to join our dynamic learning community and help build a music program based on Mastery principles. Position Highlights
The Instructional Music Teacher will :
- Teach four sections of instrumental music, including Middle School Music, Upper School Instrument Ensemble, and other performance- or classroom-based courses.
- Serve as the Music Program Coordinator for the School, ensuring music performances are rehearsed and presented for significant school events.
- Implement Mastery Learning principles by providing clear standards, scales, and assessments.
- Integrate technology into instruction by using tools such as Google Classroom.
- Provide timely, meaningful feedback to students.
- Participate in fostering an inclusive and collaborative school community.
