Ensworth School seeks a dynamic and experienced music educator to direct its Grades 5–8 Instrumental Music Program and teach across the middle school music curriculum. The ideal candidate will have expertise teaching and performing with a variety of instruments, including brass, woodwinds, strings, piano, and guitar, as well as experience in musicology, theory, and technology.

A talented multi-instrumentalist with at least three years of teaching experience, the candidate should inspire students through engaging, genre-diverse programming (modern and traditional) while fostering strong relationships with students and colleagues. Interested candidates with prior leadership experience may also be considered for the role of Middle School Arts Department Chair and Red Gables Director of Performing Arts. In this capacity, he or she will provide leadership and oversight of all Red Gables arts programming, including event planning, faculty support, curriculum development, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
