NIPR is currently looking for an experienced People Operations Business Partner to help further NIPR's People Pillar. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills, strong relationship-building abilities, and a strategic mindset. This person should have experience working in a corporate/business environment, with a focus on talent development, employee relations, and driving People initiatives that align with organizational goals. Given the dynamic nature of NIPR's business, the People Operations Business Partner must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and consistent while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. A willingness to travel and engage collaboratively across teams is essential. This position is remote.
Talent Acquisition, Engagement, and Development
Partner with Leaders to support talent acquisition efforts, including identifying hiring needs, improving hiring practices, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience with onboarding.
Assist in implementation of employee engagement and talent development initiatives, including Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion projects, career development programs, leadership training, and succession planning.
Oversee employee recognition programs to foster engagement, appreciation, and alignment with NIPR's core values.
Collaborate with internal teams to align development programs with company objectives and competencies.
Other duties as assigned.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on employee relations matters, including performance management, compensation planning, and policy interpretation.
Partner with employees, managers, and third-party providers to ensure smooth leave administration and compliance.
Serve as a mediator in employee disputes, facilitating conflict resolution, and fostering a collaborative, respectful workplace environment.
Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions to ensure compliance with company policies.
Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
Prepare and submit applicable HR-related reports, including compliance reports, workforce analytics, and leave tracking.
Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate record-keeping and adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
Act as the subject matter expert for employment law updates and communicate relevant changes to stakeholders.

Must be highly dependable, proactive, and a self-starter.
Must have an excellent ability to exercise independent, mature judgment and discretion with the ability to work well under pressure. Must be flexible, dependable, and loyal.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in employee relations, compliance, or talent development.
Solid understanding of FMLA, disability insurance, and other leave programs.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, with experience managing compliance and reporting requirements.
Experience designing and delivering employee development and leadership programs.
Familiarity with HR systems and tools (e.g., HRIS, LMS) is a plus.
Starting at $79,509 up to $100,000. To be commensurate with experience and education .
