Summary:
Support the association’s visual graphics with high-level and visible projects, social media engagement and maintenance, graphic creation, website graphics, video production, digital marketing, SEO, analytics, and more.

Principle Duties:

  • Work with all divisions in creating targeted marketing campaigns in various methods – print, digital, and social.
  • Create branding, advertising, social media, and promotional collateral.
  • Research, compose, prepare, and ensure timely distribution of social media.
  • Design graphic creation of the monthly membership newsletter.
  • Design and layout the quarterly magazine, Facts & Findings
  • Develop and maintain a social media presence including but not limited to responding to comments and posts on company accounts and resharing pertinent information.
  • Create new ad campaigns for membership, conference website, and print.
  • Research and maintain competitor analysis information on trends, pricing, etc.
  • Work with manager in the creation of the marketing budget for the fiscal year

Additional Duties:

  • All other duties as assigned.

Working Relationships and Scope:
Reports directly to the Membership Manager. Works closely with all divisions in advising on all aspects of the marketing and social media functions. Does not supervise others.

Must be a creative thinker who likes challenges and is willing to help grow the association.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required in art, graphic design, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in a graphic design function. Must be able to efficiently and effectively use technology to enhance the brand image of the association; exercise good business judgment in making decisions with the long-term best interest of the business in mind; deal effectively and cordially with a wide variety of people and situations, both pleasant and unpleasant; communicate effectively verbally and in writing; deal effectively with time pressures, stress, and rapid change. Must be professional in appearance and demeanor.

Working Conditions:
Work is performed mainly in an office environment with minimal exposure to injury. Work hours are normally Monday through Friday and will usually average 37.5 hours a week. Some unscheduled evening and weekend work will be required due to unexpected situations. Limited business travel may be necessary to execute the duties and responsibilities of this position.
