We are looking for a detail-oriented part-time Field Enumerator to perform tasks that support our organization. The Field Enumerator will actively interview farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural businesses either in person or on the phone. - Conduct surveys and gather data from farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural businesses
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of the surveys, crop counts, mileage, expenditures, and hours worked
- Travel to designated fields to perform crop counts
- Represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators in all survey actions
Requirements:
- Experience multitasking in an energetic, deadline-oriented work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to make crop counts in designated fields
- Able to maintain a reliable personal vehicle
- Able to conduct interviews in person or by telephone with farm operators and other individuals
- Familiarity with computers or iPads
