Location: Little Rock, AR
The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STATE DEPARTMENTS OF AGRICULTURE is looking for part-time, intermittent employees to conduct computer assisted telephone interviews. This is a call center environment, involving sitting for long periods of time at a computer, telephoning farmers/ranchers and conducting government surveys. Basic computer skills are required.
Day shifts are available: Shift 1 (7:00am-12:00pm) and Shift 2 (10:00am-3:00pm), only one shift per day, Monday through Friday. There is a 12-hour minimum weekly availability requirement. There may also be opportunities to work Saturdays, as needed - hours may vary.
The starting wage is $17.20 per hour, with a 6-month probationary period, followed by pay increases based on hours worked.
A general knowledge assessment test consisting of problem solving, vocabulary, and 8th grade level math skills, must be passed. A rigorous background check is required which includes fingerprinting. All applicants are responsible for paying a $16.50 non-refundable fingerprinting fee, but it does not guarantee employment.
*Customer Service and Telephone Representative experience a plus*
