An NBC Commercial Banker is responsible for originating, managing, and supervising a portfolio of commercial customers. In addition to expanding relationships with existing customers, they are expected to obtain new business loans and bank account relationships. The position of Commercial Banker consists of both administrative duties and the collection of commercial loans. It is necessary for this person to perform, and/or supervise, the completion of all the duties associated with the granting of credit. This includes loan follow up and monitoring, loan servicing, and file management. In addition, the Commercial Banker is responsible for analyzing the risk associated with their individual portfolio and maintaining quality assets.
Qualified candidates will have:

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting and 5 to 10 years of commercial lending experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required.

Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships.

The ability to gather related financial and business information and perform financial analyses needed to make credit decisions.

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with internal and external partners.

The drive to develop a growing network of outside referral sources for new business.

Proficient computer skills and business software experience.

Comply with all bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

Full-time annualized starting salary range for this position is $95,000 - $142,000, contingent on relevant skills, training, experience, education and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation.
