The Universal Banker role combines teller and personal banker responsibilities. The percentage of time spent in each role will be determined by the needs of the branch where the banker is located. Universal Bankers strengthen customer relationships and support bank growth by giving a full-service opportunity for customers to open new accounts and consumer loans, access to supportive products and services, and assists customers with maintenance needs. This position also assures compliance with all banks' policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
Qualified candidates will have:

High school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education is beneficial.

Minimum of one year of retail sales or comparable experience; financial services industry experience is preferred.

Demonstrates career progression showing initiative, professionalism, and sales success.

Based upon both job expectations and level of knowledge/experience, you may be asked to complete additional educational training. This training may include in-house or outside seminars, correspondence courses, or college and technical school classes.

Show people skills necessary to make a good first impression and the ability to relate to and empathize with customers. All while maintaining a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor throughout the day.

Flexibility to work retail hours, which includes morning, evening, and weekend hours.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00 per hour.
