Position Summary
This position is part of a growing Fan Acquisition and Engagement team at the WNBA dedicated to digital growth and engagement. The Product Marketing Manager will support global marketing initiatives for WNBA’s product offerings aimed at growing fandom, consumption, and subscriptions across WNBA League Pass, WNBA App, and account/membership programs. You will be responsible for helping build product marketing messaging, and how that is reflected within our O O surfaces and with third-party platforms and distributors. You will also lead how the latest product and content updates are being marketed across Paid Organic marketing. You are comfortable analyzing data to develop marketing insights and make informed decisions. Success in this role requires influencing and collaborating with several cross-functional partners and external partners.

Major Responsibilities
- Own the development of marketing strategies and positioning for products and features that are new to the market
- Build messaging that will resonate with fans globally and get them excited to engage with products and product features
- Work across product, content, PR, and creative teams to identify priority features and content to push forward, then develop and execute multi-channel Go-To-Market plans for each
- Own and optimize how acquisition messaging show up across WNBA’s Site and App surfaces (language, imagery, etc.) – including Onboarding flows, Landing pages, and In-product ads
- Develop and foster strong relationships with marketing teams at app store and platforms to increase editorial platform placements (Apple, Google, Amazon, etc.)
- Manage platform marketing creative development including briefing, reviewing, copy creating, and delivery
- Oversee App Store Optimization strategy, implementation and testing roadmap to improve app store conversion rates – including across Keywords, Descriptions, and Preview Screens
- Develop and implement in-app events to increase App visibility and engagement within the App Store
- Monitor App Store marketing performance and keyword rankings using analytic tracking tools to provide insights to both internal stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of DTC Marketing reviews for key internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct industry trend research relating to best practices to identify potential opportunities to scale performance
- BA/BS required
- 3-4 years of digital product marketing experience, including direct response marketing
- App Store Optimization (ASO) experience highly regarded
- Partner marketing and/or creative production experiences are pluses
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced setting without ready-made processes!
- Strong collaboration skills, ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization to influence and drive results with key business partners
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly with complex campaign setups!
- Working knowledge of WNBA
