Responsibilities
Key Roles and Responsibilities for the Shipping Supervisor position include but are not limited to:
- Provide support to the Shipping and Receiving Superintendent
- Manage shift and maintain PPMH targets
- Manage daily and weekly labor reports
- Manage daily and weekly load-out and rotation reports
- Manage daily order-fill and quality
- Maintain crewing needs
- Manage all technical aspects of Shipping and Receiving procedures:
- Safety procedures and programs
- Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist Shipping and Receiving Superintendent in cost reduction efforts
- Assume responsibilities of Shipping and Receiving Superintendent in their absence
- Provide ongoing training and guidance to Shipping and Receiving team
- Other duties as assigned
This is a safety sensitive position. This is not a remote position.
Qualifications
Qualified Candidates for the Shipping Supervisor position should possess the following:
- Food Industry Shipping and Receiving experience preferred
- Solid leadership skills
- Computer proficient
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
