Responsibilities for the Trailer Yards Accountability Specialist position include but are not limited to:
- Document reefer trailer information, to include starting unit and documenting all required information
- Work with internal departments, drivers, and outside carriers
- Communicate regularly with plant departments and department manager
- Complete required reports in an accurate, timely manner
- Check all load related information to ensure that it is complete and accurate
- Contribute to a team effort
- Record observations, occurrences, and unusual activities
- Document incidents of irregularity
- Operation of a motor vehicle
- Other duties as assigned
This is a safety sensitive position. This is not a remote position.

Qualified candidates for the Trailer Yards Accountability Specialist Position should have the following:
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong, Ethical Character
- Dependable
- Ability to be objective
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism
- Good people/conflict resolution skills
- Microsoft Outlook proficient
- Good time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able and willing to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Able and willing to work outside in ALL weather conditions
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Exemplary performance and attendance record at previous employment
- Must be available to work any shift including weekends and holidays
- Previous trailer accountability specialist experience preferred but not required
- 2 years stable work history
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
