Responsibilities
Shipping Lead Person responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Fork-Truck operation in congested areas
- Safe overhead storage placement
- Monitor and maintain all required paperwork
- Daily rotation of product
- Unload boxes that weigh 60 to 100 pounds on a daily basis
- Communication of product details to supervisors, appropriate individual
- Follow National Beef safety, food safety, and standard operating procedures as well as good manufacturing practices and requirements; including fork-truck operations and lockout/tag-out procedures
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment
- Follow company's training
- Other duties as assigned
This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates for the Shipping Lead Person position should possess the following:
Ability to operate a fork-truck
- Safe fork-truck driving record with previous employers
- Previous leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
- Ability to read, write and speak English
