As an OTR driver for Faygo Beverages, Inc., your primary responsibility would be to ensure the safe delivery of our product and our affiliates to each of our customers. This is a physically demanding position that requires you to handle up to 44lbs at a time by stacking it on a hand-cart or electric pallet jack and wheeling it into the various stores.
Responsibilities:
To operate a tractor and trailer safely and efficiently.
Must be licensed to operate an electric pallet jack.
The driver must be able to lift up to 44 pounds consecutively.
The driver must be able to restack a tipped pallet.
The driver must be able to drive 11 hours consecutively and work 14 hours in a 24-hour period.
Ensure each customer is receiving the proper product by verifying case quantities and customer address with the bill of lading.
Report to dispatch available hours by 1 pm daily.
Report any delays to dispatch and customer.
Drop and hook trailers in yard and at off-site customer locations.
Perform city work when required which includes switching, shuttling and deliveries to Canada.
Fill out DVIR daily and report any needed repairs to the supervisor.
Operate a standard lift gate safely.
Crank dollies legs up and down on trailers.
Ability to release the 5th arm to the coupling system.
Open and close trailer doors.
Qualifications:
Must have valid CDL-A License with less than 5 points
Must have high school diploma or GED
Ability to work flexible schedule
Must have good driving record
Must have six months of driving experience
Ability to operate electronic logs
