JOB DESCRIPTION: This position requires repairing and maintaining production and facility equipment, installing new machinery, and implementing preventative maintenance programs. The ideal candidate should be a full journeyman in Machine Repair, Plant Mechanic, or Millwright. Key qualifications include knowledge of TIG welding, experience operating tools like lathes and drill presses, plumbing skills, and industrial refrigeration maintenance. Candidates must also lead troubleshooting efforts and have proficiency in reading mechanical and electrical prints, as well as pneumatic and hydraulic schematics. Strong pipe fitting skills for air, water, and hydraulics are required, along with a good attendance record.
RESPONSIBILITIES:• Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment and systems• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues• Monitor and maintain HVAC systems, evaporative cooling, and ventilation systems• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Ammonia / Glycol chilling systems• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot compressed air systems• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot RO / Brine Recovery water systems• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Cooling Towers• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot CO2 systems• Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot boiler/steam systems.• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot beverage wastewater systems• Inspect and test facility equipment to ensure proper functioning• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs• Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards• Respond to emergency maintenance requests• Keep inventory of maintenance supplies and order as needed• Perform regular inspections / PM’s of the facility to identify maintenance needs• Collaborate with other departments to support plant operations
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:• Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial setting• Advanced certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)• Strong problem-solving skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools• Technical training in maintenance and repair• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints• Strong attention to detail• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and climbing• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Field positions will be exposed to various unfamiliar conditions where Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn and which may include but are not limited to: manufacturing and warehouse plants, and other venues as directed by the supervisor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but increases significantly in warehouse and manufacturing plants.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends • A high school diploma or GED is preferred, or equivalent experience is required.• Minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in a related field with proven industry experience; beverage experience is a plus.• Ability to read schematics.• Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word, are required. Knowledge of MP2 software and PLC experience are pluses.• Knowledgeable of OSHA laws and can implement all OSHA-required training for the department. • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.• Must be 18 years or older.• Favorable background and drug exam.• Ability and willingness to work 12-hour shifts and the flexibility to work a flexible full-time schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
