Duties
- Interpret and work from schematics and blueprints to fabricate metal components.
- Utilize power tools and operate equipment, including a folder, press brake and laser cutting machine to shape and cut metal materials.
- Conduct quality checks using basic math skills and calipers to ensure precision in measurements.
- Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the fabrication area.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with working on sheet metal projects is advantageous.
- Proficient in the use of power tools and machinery relevant to the fabrication process.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations are essential.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
