Powder Coat Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong Powder Coat Technician background and be adept in various technical tasks related to powder coat booth operation and industrial environments. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment such as Powder Coat Automated and manual powder application safely and efficiently.
• Perform visual checks and attention to detail as required, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Execute cleaning practices to maintain a quality product finish.
• QC finished components as needed for all projects, adhering to specifications and safety standards.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste in the warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Skills

• Experience in Powder coating and industrial powdering processes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts to optimize workflow.
• Ability to work in a warehouse setting, adapting to various tasks as needed.
• Experience with Powder spraying equipment is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
