Job Summary :

The Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our team. With 810 rooms, we are looking for a high-energy individual eager to learn and grow with our company.

The goal of the Assistant Executive Housekeeper is to effectively and proactively monitor the daily operations of the Housekeeping team. While this leader will focus primarily on Housekeeping Operations, they will work closely with all hotel departments to ensure a successful and effective operation resulting in a positive guest and colleague experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Support the housekeeping department while working closely with department managers, directors, and other hotel divisions.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate the Housekeeping department, including hourly colleagues, leads, and supervisors, towards achieving exceptional guest service results and complete colleague engagement.
• Create and execute procedures to assist the hotel in reaching service scores on our guest / colleague surveys.
• Ensure thorough communication and understanding with guests, colleagues, and other departments by reviewing hotel events and activities.
• Support operation leaders in proactively reviewing staffing and equipment needs.
• Perform daily walk-throughs in the Housekeeping Department to ensure full compliance in health and safety for all guests and colleagues.

The salary range for this position is $67,000 to $75,000.
