ABOUT NBE HOLDINGS COMPANY
The NBE Holdings Company portfolio includes National Bulk Equipment, Inc. and Brawn Mixer and is a privately held corporation based in Holland, Michigan. The NBE Holdings Company designs, engineers, manufactures, automates, and integrates industrial bulk material handling systems for solids and liquids processing operations across industries, including: food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical processing.
SUMMARY
The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, and the entire Marketing team, to support and manage marketing communications and sales support projects across all NBE operating entities. The primary responsibility of the Graphic Designer will be to apply consistent brand guidelines across a wide range of creative projects, including: print collateral, signage, trade show and large-format graphics, print and digital ads, social media graphics, video, and website and other interactive user interfaces. The candidate must be a versatile professional with expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and a strong understanding of design principles, print production processes, and digital workflows. The candidate must be a strong conceptual thinker, effectively manage timelines, and produce high-quality work across various media formats. The candidate must also take direction well, work collaboratively, and be committed to maintaining the brand integrity of each operating entity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Use Adobe Creative Cloud to:
- Design and develop collateral, including: brochures, product data sheets, and white papers
- Design and develop digital and print ads and social media graphics
- Design and develop UX/UI for websites and interactive media
- Design and develop large-format trade show graphics
- Design and develop exterior and interior signage
- Design, develop, and edit digital presentation programs
- Edit digital images for use across a variety of media
Manage production of marketing communications assets:
- Effectively communicate and present ideas within a team environment
- Create all assets according to their appropriate project specifications
- Proactively identify and resolve design challenges
- Pre-flight and prepare assets for delivery to production vendors
- Work with marketing staff and production vendors to ensure high production values and timely delivery
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat; proficiency with Premiere Pro and After Effects is beneficial
- Highly proficient in design and typographical principles
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, primarily Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Proficient with DropBox
- Working knowledge with 3D software such as Blender or 3DS Max
- Working knowledge with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a graphic design role, resulting in a strong understanding of design, production, and marketing vocabulary, operations, and processes
- Experience in project management with ability to manage multiple projects and tasks while meeting required deadlines
- Experience using project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday, Basecamp, etc.)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive and self-guided; functions with minimal direction
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position may require travel with overnight stays, less than 10%, or as requested.
