SUMMARY
Machine Assemblers take an active part in each step of the planning, building, start-up, run off of each machine they build. Machine Assemblers are part of an assembly team and report to the appropriate team leader. Team leads provide direct supervision and on-the-job training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
- Work collaboratively with teammates to problem solve and see projects through to completion.
- Daily use of power tools, ladders, lifts, forklifts and overhead cranes in order to assemble equipment.
- Utilize a computer to navigate network folders and SolidWorks files in order to assist in the machine building process.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A good attendance record - be on time and ready to work.
- Strong mechanical skills with a focus on safety and quality.
- Ability to lift as much as 50 pounds as required.
- Maintain a steady pace working in a manufacturing environment with bending, kneeling, and ladder climbing required.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as individually.
- Provide own hand tools suitable for the job. (A list of recommended tools will be provided).
- Previous forklift and crane experience/certification is highly desired.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
