We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tech Project Coordinator to assist in managing and executing technical projects across the organization. This role serves as the bridge between technical teams, stakeholders, and project management, ensuring that all aspects of projects are planned, executed, and delivered on time and within scope. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and a knack for problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and tracking of technical projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams, business units, and external vendors, maintaining clear and timely communication regarding project updates, deliverables, and challenges.
  • Documentation: Create, maintain, and manage project documentation, including timelines, progress reports, meeting minutes, and technical specifications.
  • Risk Management: Identify and address potential project risks, escalating issues to project managers or leadership as necessary.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate resource needs with relevant teams, ensuring appropriate allocation of personnel, tools, and technology.
  • Process Improvement: Support the refinement of project management processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with teams to ensure the quality of deliverables, conducting basic testing or validation when required.
  • Technical Support: Provide basic technical assistance or coordination for system setup, software deployment, or other project-related technical needs.
  • Miscellaneous IT Responsibilities: Support various IT tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.  Provide troubleshooting assistance and technical support where required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2 years of experience in project coordination or a related role, preferably in a technical or IT-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Jira, Asana) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Google Chat).
  • Basic technical knowledge of IT systems, software development, or infrastructure.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce and WordPress
  • Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum Master.
  • Experience with technical documentation and software testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, database management, or networking concepts.
  • Experience within the Fintech industry or at an MSP
Salary Range: $65-80k/year
