At National Carwash Solutions, our Internships provide the opportunity for students who are currently pursuing an education in a science related field to get hands-on experience working with our professional staff.

We are seeking students to participate in our 2025 internship or Co-op program!

Chemistry Internship Primary Duties

• Maintain and use laboratory equipment to test materials and finished goods to ensure it falls within quality standards of the business unit. Including viscometers, pH meters, titrations, refractometers, and balances
• Audit the work of production employees to ensure that they are following mixing specifications
• Inspect incoming raw materials when required to assure it meets company requirements
• Aid manufacturing personnel regarding quality problems. This may include working with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Customer Service, or other involved departments
• Inspect all finished products prior to shipment to ensure compliance to company specifications and procedures
• Maintain records related to all aspects of quality operations
• Authoring and management of safety data sheets (SDS)
• Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
• Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time
  
  

Qualifications

• In progress bachelor’s degree in science related field
• Maintain a satisfactory attendance record
• Comply with company rules, policies, and decisions
• Perform the responsibilities of the position at a satisfactory level of efficiency
• Required to regularly use a Personal Computer (P.C.)
• Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift weight up to 75 lbs.
• May stand for prolonged periods of time
• May stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or do fine manipulations
