As Data Analytics Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for transforming our raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, build and maintain our reporting infrastructure, and lead analytics initiatives across the organization.
Here’s What That Entails
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL views and stored procedures for reporting and analysis
- Work with developers to create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards
- Lead the development of custom reports and analytics solutions for internal teams and clients
- Identify and document any data issues or gaps and work with the product team to resolve
- Identify data trends and insights to support business decision-making
- Mentor team members on SQL best practices and data analysis techniques
- Document and maintain table, column, and metric definitions
- 5 years of experience with SQL and data analysis
- Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries and creating optimized views
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Proven track record of translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience creating clear, impactful data visualizations
- Background in data modeling and database design
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data science concepts
- Background in Python, R, or other programming languages
- Experience with Snowflake or similar modern data warehouses
- Previous experience in a client-facing analytics role
