The Production Superintendent at National Cement collaborates with the Kiln Team Superintendent, reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the cement manufacturing plant to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise the daily activities of the production team, ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations.
- Implement production schedules, monitor output, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Promote a culture of safety by enforcing compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Electrical, Quarry and Quality Assurance teams to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to team members, fostering skill development and teamwork.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on production metrics, equipment performance, and workforce productivity.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or process improvement focus
