Position Overview
The purpose of the Director of Marketing is to develop and activate enterprise-wide integrated marketing campaigns and programs for NCF as we seek to expand our ministry impact. This position will play a vital role in expressing a consistent brand identity and maximizing reach through well-planned and executed marketing strategies. The Director will lead and participate in strategic planning, demand-generation campaigns, brand strategy, and product activation with our Marketing Team. This position will also develop and execute marketing programs for our ministry and advisor channels, as well as provide oversight for marketing initiatives for NCF’s local offices across the country.

This position is local-hybrid out of NCF's national office in Alpharetta, GA.

Duties and Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for leading and delivering integrated marketing strategies and planning across all communication channels, both at a brand level and a new-product level, to drive the success of NCF initiatives. Key responsibilities associated with this role include:

1. Integrated Marketing
a. Develops integrated marketing plans that encompass digital, traditional advertising, social media, PR, events, etc.
b. Formulates plans for the overall brand and new offering launches
c. Customizes marketing plans to cater to the needs and preferences of different customer segments
d. Ensures consistency and synergy across all marketing channels to maintain a unified brand message.

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration
a. Collaborates with teams such as Brand & Customer Experience, Offerings (Product), Network Relations, and Creative teams to align strategies and execute campaigns effectively
b. Ensures a cohesive approach to marketing efforts across the organization

3. Campaign Execution and Management
a. Oversees the implementation of marketing plans, ensuring they align with the overall strategy and objectives
b. Monitors and measures the performance of campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed to optimize results

4. Content Creation
a. Leads the development of compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels to support marketing plans, effectively conveying the brand's message and go-to-market plan
b. Manages communication strategies that resonate with target audiences and drive desired actions
c. Manages a team of marketing associates and managers to deliver content on time that meets strategic objectives

5. Performance Analysis and Reporting
a. Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
b. Prepares regular reports summarizing campaign performance and recommend improvements for future campaigns

6. Adaptability and Innovation
a. Stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies that can help us better deliver marketing plans and reach target customers
b. Innovates and adapts marketing strategies to remain relevant in the market

7. Budget Management
a. Works with the Marketing Team leadership to develop marketing budgets for campaigns and initiatives
b. Optimizes spending to maximize ROI and achieve marketing objectives efficiently
c. Other duties as assigned

8. Personal, Spiritual, and Professional Development
a. Demonstrates a commitment to personal, spiritual and professional maturity through regular prayer, study of Scripture and other Christian learning mechanisms
b. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational seminars, workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies

9. Building Christian Community Through Demonstrating Biblical Principles
a. Actively integrates biblical principles in day-to-day behavior, exhibiting unremitting integrity and strong moral character
b. Models daily faithfulness to God and love and service to others
c. Prays regularly for employees, givers, and charities involved with NCF
d. Attends weekly NCF Devotions and other NCF community building events

Supervisory Responsibilities
Individual may supervise employees in the staff area. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; helping others to grow spiritually and leading like Jesus.
Experience and Skills:

2. Education
a. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
b. Additional communications, writing, design, publishing, and digital education/experience is a plus

3. Experience
a. A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in professional marketing positions, including management of people
b. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in marketing agencies and/or non-profits preferred
c. Strong experience and expertise in Microsoft office is a must
d. Experience and ability with Adobe Creative Suite, Trello, SalesForce, WordPress, social media platforms, AI tools, and other communications software is a plus

4. Competencies
a. Input - Ability to take in and process a large amount of new information
b. Relational - Comfort working with people at all levels of the organization, as well as our givers (high-net-worth individuals)
c. Ability to learn new things quickly
d. Boundaries - Ability to know what is part of the job and what is not and to keep to the scope of work planned (unless decided with the manager that job should expand)
e. Maintains sensitive and confidential information as well as business, donor and affiliate confidential matters
f. Is ethical, tactful, and courteous in dealing with all employees and vendors
