Certification Team Lead
Location : NCCPA is a hybrid work environment with our headquarters located in Johns Creek, Georgia. NCCPA has determined that the telecommuting status of this position is hybrid which means that employees in hybrid positions are allowed to split their work hours between work remotely and working onsite at the NCCPA headquarters.
The duties of this position require that the candidate report on-site to the Johns Creek headquarters on a weekly basis and live within the commutable distance. NCCPA has defined commutable distance as within the state of Georgia and within 85 miles of ground travel, one-way between an employee’s primary residence and the NCCPA headquarters in Johns Creek, Georgia.

As the Certification Maintenance Team Lead , you will support the Senior Director of Certification Maintenance and Information Service in overseeing the operational processes that uphold the requirements for Physician Assistant certification maintenance in accordance with established NCCPA standards and contributes and contributes to the growth and professional development of the Certification Maintenance team.
In accordance with NCCPA’s Conflict of Interest Policy, any NCCPA employee who is a PA, lives with or is in a committed relationship with, or is related to a PA is prohibited from working on exam content, participating in NCCPA exam-related meetings and will not have access to NCCPA systems that contain PA data.
How Will You Make a Difference? You will…
- Assists the Sr. Director of Certification Maintenance and Information Service with completion of partner contracts and requirements for API approval.
- Collaborates with Sr. Director of Certification Maintenance and Information Service, VP of Certification Maintenance, and interdepartmental teams to implement operational processes and communications strategies for Certification Maintenance.
- Coordinates the review and development of accurate documentation and business requirements for Certification Maintenance projects and procedures.
- Participates in Certification Maintenance project and lead team meetings and disseminates accurate meeting notes, information, and deadlines to Sr. Director of Certification Maintenance and Information Service and team.
- Partners with Sr. Director of Certification Maintenance and Information Service to assess and track the performance, training and professional development needs of Certification Maintenance team members.
- Recommends and develops reports and tracking systems to capture team performance towards completion of goals and keeps Sr. Director of Certification Maintenance and Information Service updated on progress.
- Suggests process improvement ideas and works with Sr. Director of Certification Maintenance and Information Service team members to gather suggestions that will improve operational effectiveness.
