Information Service Specialist I
Location: NCCPA is a hybrid work environment with our headquarters located in Johns Creek, Georgia. NCCPA has determined that the telecommuting status of this position is hybrid which means that employees in hybrid positions are allowed to split their work hours between work remotely and working onsite at the NCCPA headquarters.
The duties of this position require that the candidate report on-site to the Johns Creek headquarters on a weekly basis and live within the commutable distance. NCCPA has defined commutable distance as within the state of Georgia and within 85 miles of ground travel, one-way between an employee’s primary residence and the NCCPA headquarters in Johns Creek, Georgia.

As the Information Service Specialist I, you will provide optimal customer service while serving as the voice of the organization by answering incoming telephone calls, text, and emails in a professional manner, verifying confidential information, resolving questions and concerns as efficiently and effectively as possible and securely maintaining private client records.
In accordance with NCCPA’s Conflict of Interest Policy, any NCCPA employee who is a PA, lives with or is in a committed relationship with, or is related to a PA is prohibited from working on exam content, participating in NCCPA exam-related meetings and will not have access to NCCPA systems that contain PA data.
How Will You Make a Difference? You will…
- Create an environment of genuine and professional connections by leading the delivery of engaging and exceptional customer experience for clients.
- Answer calls, voicemails, emails, and texts, and provide the information requested or refer the client to another staff member within agreed-upon timeframes and add summary notes in the client’s internal record.
- Conduct follow-up phone calls and emails to survey respondents who have concerns or questions.
- Monitor and process name, contact information, and database changes, and upload or scan documentation into digital records.

Hard Skills You Will Have
- Associate degree, preferably in Business or healthcare related field. A higher level of work experience in the related field may be substituted for education. 5 or more years of experience in customer service (Preferably in a healthcare administration organization).
- Five to seven years of customer service-related work experience in a call center environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications especially in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Your experience with interpreting and implementing policy and procedures
