PA Outreach Specialist
Location: NCCPA is a hybrid work environment with our headquarters located in Johns Creek, Georgia. NCCPA has determined that the telecommuting status of this position is remote which means that employees in remote positions are allowed to primarily work remotely with required travel for mandatory meetings, including to the NCCPA headquarters.
As a matter of policy, NCCPA restricts remote positions to those in which the employee’s home office location in a U.S. jurisdiction in the Eastern or Central time zones.

Who We Are
NCCPA is the only certifying organization for physician assistants in the United States. Established as a not-for-profit organization in 1975, we are dedicated to assuring the public that board certified PAs meet established standards of clinical knowledge and cognitive skills upon entry into practice and throughout their careers. All U.S. states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. territories have decided to rely on NCCPA certification as one of the criteria for licensure or regulation of PAs.

Why Us, Why Now?
As the PA Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, development, and the implementation of the NCCPA's presentations to PA Program under the direction of the Director of Communications and PA Relations.
In accordance with NCCPA’s Conflict of Interest Policy, any NCCPA employee who is a PA, lives with or is in a committed relationship with, or is related to a PA is prohibited from working on exam content, participating in NCCPA exam-related meetings and will not have access to NCCPA systems that contain PA data.
How Will You Make a Difference? You will…
- Develop and fosters relationships with administrative staff and faculty from PA Programs.
- Use project management software (Wrike and Excel) with the Communications team to manage events (publicizes events on social media, newsletters, board reports and website).
- Create and deliver live, virtual or recorded presentations for PA students, faculty and other audiences
- Create and update recorded presentations.
- Develop quarterly board reports with data of speaking events.
- Exhibit at occasional live events.
- Respond and tracks all email correspondence from PA students, faculty and administrators.
- Manage the design and production of print materials and slide decks.
Hard Skills You Will Have
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or another discipline; earned doctoral degree is preferred.
- Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program and maintains NCCPA certification.
- A minimum of 3 years of full-time teaching experience in a PA program.
- A minimum of 3 years in full-time clinical practice as a PA.
- Current state physician assistant license.
- Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials, slide decks and publications.
- Experience leading performance-based and outcome-based programs and staff.
- Demonstrate skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of communications and public relations activities.
- Demonstrate successful experience creating and delivering live, virtual and recorded presentations.
