What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician position at National Communications Inc?
We are currently seeking a Low Voltage Technician. You will install and maintain a variety of low voltage systems including, but not limited to:
- Alarm Systems
- Fire Systems
- Fiber Optics
- Data Cabling
- Gate Operators
- Audio Visual Equipment
- Access Control
Training:
Payscale dependant on familiarity with the above categories, on the job training, provided
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair low voltage electrical equipment and fixtures
- Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
- Perform routine maintenance on low voltage systems
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in low voltage related fields or other related fields are a plus
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to be issued and maintain a registration with the North Carolina Alarm Licensing Board'
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
