What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician position at National Communications Inc?

We are currently seeking a Low Voltage Technician. You will install and maintain a variety of low voltage systems including, but not limited to:

  • Alarm Systems
  • Fire Systems
  • Fiber Optics
  • Data Cabling
  • Gate Operators
  • Audio Visual Equipment
  • Access Control

Training:

Payscale dependant on familiarity with the above categories, on the job training, provided

Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair low voltage electrical equipment and fixtures
  • Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
  • Perform routine maintenance on low voltage systems
  • Adhere to all quality and safety codes

​​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in low voltage related fields or other related fields are a plus
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
  • Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to be issued and maintain a registration with the North Carolina Alarm Licensing Board'

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
