What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning and Development Manager position at National Community Renaissance?
Under the general supervision of the Director of Learning and Development, the Learning and Development Manager will assist with the management of the learning initiatives and processes as well as contributing to the development of new content and resources. The Learning and Development Manager has a managerial role in on-boarding new employees, will also assist the Regional Managers in providing extra support to team members who need additional onsite training, and regularly meet with Department Heads to identify their specific needs. The Learning and Development Manager will aid in development and retention of talent while cultivating a culture of learning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages planning, creating, and implementing each year's training calendar.
- Manages (with Director) the L & D Admin and Maintenance Trainer
- Assist in developing and managing effective training programs to support employee development
- Evaluating the impact of delivered training
- Be actively involved in succession planning
- Provide individualized on-site training and mentoring as necessary
- Supports and monitors the LMS for accuracy and employee compliance
- Monitors and managers the Grace Hill Platforms - Validate (Mystery Shops), Vision (LMS)- and Policy Partner
- Track, create, and maintain training records.
- Create and deliver software training (Microsoft and YARDI)
- Stay up to date on industry trends and development within the industry
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Attend company sponsored events that relate to the development of the team, which from time to time may include overnight stays at locations away from the employee's home.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with LMS
- Ability to strategize initiatives in a consistent manner
- Ability to supervise others
- Previous experience in Property Management
- Proven ability to communicate effectively
- Proficient using Microsoft Suite and YARDI
- Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Manager or above
- High School Diploma
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Operate computer and office equipment.
- Work is primarily sedentary in nature.

Salary : $68,000 - $75,000
