This position participates in the update of NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®) and NCCN Guidelines®-related initiatives and projects.
Requirements
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the development and/or publication of NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Perform literature searches and prepare the Guideline Discussion sections for web publication
- Participate in the development, maintenance, and update NCCN Guidelines-related initiatives, including globally adapted Guideline versions
- Provide clinical content expertise for development and review of clinical content for NCCN educational programs
- Review NCCN Guidelines content by external entities for clinical accuracy
- Assist as needed with the NCCN Guidelines content integration into digitized systems
- Perform other related duties as assigned
EDUCATION/RELATED EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in scientific/medical writing and/or publishing of scientific articles required
- Experience in oncology preferred
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must have excellent writing skills and the ability to formulate scientific/medical information in a clear and concise manner
- Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external personnel at various levels
- Must possess strong attention to detail
- Must be proficient in MS Office products
