What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst USC or GC only position at National Computer Systems?
Key Responsibilities:
• Integration of technology assets: As a key member of Integration team, lead and assist with transition of newly acquired critical SCADA and OT (operational technology) systems to company’s environment
• Business Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business users to gather, document, and analyze business requirements. Assist in creating project documentation, specifications, and use cases.
• Vendor Onboarding: Assist with all aspects of vendor onboarding. Create RFP (request for proposal), SOW (statement of work), evaluate responses and assist in vendor selection.
• Project Milestone Support: Assist in planning, execution and tracking of project milestones. Provide support in the identification and resolution of project risks and issues. Ensure alignment with business requirements, project milestones and timelines.
• Technology Support and Testing: Collaborate with technology and IT teams to develop and support technology solutions for project deliverables. Support testing activities and assist in development and implementation of OT procedures.
• Change Management: Track issues, change requests and deployment timelines. Manage Change Management and Production Cutover processes.
Criteria & Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, or related technical discipline
o Proven 7-10 years of experience as a Technical Analyst
o Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions, and Systems Integration Projects / Programs. Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
o Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with business stakeholders and technical teams.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and familiar with software tools like JIRA, , Trello, PowerBI or other project management software.
Preferred Skills Qualifications:
o Experience in Operational Technology systems (SCADA/HMI/Control) for Gas Pipeline or Gas Utility.
- o Experience working with Professional Service Companies.
