Key Requirements:
✅ PMP Certification required
✅ 7 years of customer-facing project management experience
✅ Proven experience managing SAS projects (PMO), preferably in Medicaid/Healthcare
✅ Strong background in state and local government projects
✅ Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira)
✅ Experience with project documentation (Charters, RACI, Design documents)
✅ Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Job Summary:
As a SAS Senior Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of state project management, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and client expectations.
Responsibilities:
🔹 Budget management, invoicing, and subcontractor expense oversight
🔹 Project planning, execution, and monitoring against KPIs
🔹 Risk assessment, issue escalation, and dependency management
🔹 Stakeholder meeting coordination and facilitation
🔹 Development of project plans, timelines, and reporting
🔹 Resource forecasting and management
🔹 Ensuring adherence to quality assurance, testing, and change management procedures
🔹 Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
Preferred Experience:
✔️ Local candidates (Raleigh, NC area)
✔️ Medicaid/Healthcare project management experience
✔️ Knowledge of SAS internal processes
🎓 Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field preferred
