JOB DESCRIPTION
• The primary focus of this role is to plan, manage, and coordinate the safe execution of capital projects, right of way repairs and maintenance, and operational projects within Great Lakes Region. Projects include electrical and mechanical equipment repair and/or replacement, pipeline modifications, annual tank inspection and maintenance, earthworks and civil repair, as well as support for environmental drilling and monitoring.
Specific Accountabilities:
Project Engineering:
• Finalize project design & scope, leveraging technical expertise and regional engineers to ensure all aspects are compliant with company standards and are adequately mitigating identified risks
• Develop requests for proposals and evaluation of consultant qualifications as required
• Confirm proper engineering documentation is developed and submitted for project execution
• Facilitate design reviews with appropriate stakeholders and facilitate change management
• Review critical operational plans such as isolation plans, inspection and test plans
• Address critical safety and operability concerns through engineering practices
