Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring efficient operations within our logistics framework. The ideal candidate will possess experience in operating heavy equipment and commercial vehicles, contributing to the smooth flow of goods and services.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of heavy equipment including forklifts and tractor-trailers for loading and unloading materials.
- Safely drive commercial vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Manage the loading and unloading of products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Assist in moving products within the warehouse, maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to meet delivery schedules and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing driving and warehouse tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and commercial vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a driver and CLASS C Haz-Mat CDL is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with moving products.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to warehouse operations and commercial driving.
- Previous experience in logistics or warehousing is preferred but not mandatory.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.43 - $17.37 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
