Yard Worker / Sanitation Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a full time yard worker, who will also be required to fill in as needed as sanitation driver .
Essential Functions:
- Clean, repair, and ensure proper rolling and stacking of fence materials in the yard.
- Maintain cleanliness, conduct repairs, and apply paint to fence, sanitation, and storage equipment.
- Assist in the loading, unloading, and servicing of vehicles used for fence, sanitation, and storage operations.
- Operate steam cleaners, forklifts, and air tools proficiently and safely.
- Immediately report any accidents or incidents according to company procedures.
- Maintain and update inventory logs on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as required.
- Document all maintenance and repair work completed daily.
- Empty and clean portable toilets in preparation for delivery.
- Ensure a safe and tidy work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work from detailed instructions and occasionally make independent decisions.
- Task-oriented with proficiency in following detailed instructions.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a Motor Vehicle Record within company guidelines. Because this position may be required to drive a company vehicle, incumbent must be at least 21 years old and possess a forklift certification.
- A forklift certification will be provided after hire.
- DOT medical card.
