Officing Expectation
Flexible Work Arrangement: This role offers the flexibility to work either full-time in the NCTC headquarters office in Overland Park, Kansas (preferred) or in a hybrid model, splitting time between home and the NCTC office. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to both environments, maintaining productivity and collaboration regardless of location.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
- Oversees and provides strategic leadership on a variety of technology platforms and ancillary product strategies and development.
- Monitors and assesses market, technology, and industry trends and incorporates into product roadmaps, product positioning, and portfolio plans.
- Defines and implements the product strategy for NCTC video and broadband offerings. This includes researching and understanding market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Leads the development of new products and enhancements to existing products. This includes working closely with product management, business development, operations, IT, marketing, finance, and other internal and external teams to ensure products are completed on time and within budget.
- Creates buy-in for the product vision both internally and with NCTC members and functions as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding across multiple constituencies.
- Occasional travel which may infrequently include weekends.
- Proven work experience in product development and strategy.
- Strong understanding of traditional pay TV business strategies and technology.
- Deep knowledge of the digital media and technology landscape including third party over-the-top and other streaming services and strategies.
- Background and experience in developing and deploying consumer broadband products, services, and strategies.
- Demonstrable strategic aptitude and proven ability to define business strategy and product roadmap and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to create and manage strong internal and external relationships with members and partners.
- Excellent communicator both verbally and written with an ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Superior analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to evaluate theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success.
- Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of broadband, cable, and/or telecommunications experience.
