The Corporate Finance Analyst – Intern will conduct in-depth finance analyses though building excel-based models that expand upon the Bank’s existing frameworks in the areas of liquidity, interest rate risk, valuations, and financial metrics.
Role Responsibilities:
- Researching the latest developments concerning each project
- Developing all analyses based on widely accepted financial analysis methodologies including regulatory-specified calculations
- Building all models and analyses to accommodate easy updating with new data.
- Designing all analyses with excel-modeling best practice techniques
- Documenting procedures to update each analysis and supporting model
- Collaborating analyses with the Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Financial Reporting teams.
- Presenting analyses and models to management
Qualifications/ Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
- Completed the first year of a two-year MBA program
- At least 4 years of financial analysis experience with a financial institution or financial services firm
- Prior experience with financial analysis and building complex excel-based models
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and researching skills
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with team members
- Results-driven, highly motivated self-starter with a quest for learning and enhancing financial analyses
Work Environment:
Hybrid – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to the office and are required to work from the office every Tuesday and Wednesday.
