The position serves as an advocate of the Bank, promoting the Bank’s products, services, and overall NCB culture. Assures quality customer services by answering the phone, greeting customers, and assigning security badges to visitors of the bank. Always promotes a professional and courteous manner. Provide guidance and training for front desk, phones, and back-up of miscellaneous duties. Manage and maintain the overall workflow of the reception desk and duties assigned to ensure continuity and coverage of the customer service/receptionist area Monday thru Saturday. Ensure lobby is organized and stocked with brochures and forms daily. Be constantly aware of lobby security. Facilitate internal communications (distribute information). Effectively communicate and collaborate with front line tellers and department managers on lobby and customer service issues. 30%
- Assist Teller Line Operations and support Deposit Operations, as needed. Completing account transactions accurately along with daily teller duties. Process mail deposits, confirmations, miscellaneous daily functions, assignments, and team projects as assigned. Assist in scanning, QC, and review of imaged items. Verification of new account and file maintenance documents. Completion of assigned training and continuing education, compliance with banking regulations, provide superior customer service and satisfaction. 50%
- Provide all clerical support and assist with duties and special projects for Retail and Deposit Operations management and other managers as assigned. Ensure effective communication and coordination among managers and teams on meeting schedules, lunch schedules and availability during bank hours. Assist with and coordinates Ohio Bank Disaster recovery, business continuity items. Prepares and maintains management tracking excel reporting. Assist with planning bank events. 10%
- Serve as liaison and coordinator with Post Office for pickup and delivery of mail each day. Oversee and manage mail room area for mail deliveries and/or pickup, daily sorting, and delivery of mail for each team. Log all delivered UPS and FedEx packages and notify correct personnel for pickup. Maintain VRU/phone system and update information as needed. Optionally, hold and maintain a Notary license for the Bank and serve as liaison with other Bank notaries, providing notary services for our customers. 15 %
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate with college degree preferred and prior work-related experience as an Administrative Assistant.
Two years prior job-related experience as an administrative/executive assistant, receptionist, and customer service representative, with retail banking knowledge and experience a plus.
This position requires excellent verbal and written communications skills, and promotes positive professional image, both in appearance and attitude.
Individual must possess knowledge of personal computers, and proficient Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
Individual must be customer service oriented with a professional and courteous attitude with good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple project and assignments.
Individual must be a team player and self-starter, exuding diligence on task assigned and conducts business in a manner of integrity and discipline consistent with the Banks policy.
