This position performs the funding, cash management, investment and hedging activities of the Treasury Department. Includes day-to-day management of NCB’s sources of funds (FHLB, Fed, etc.). This position performs daily warehouse hedging activities. This position monitors all Treasury related payments and collateral. This position prepares or approves reports related to funding, liquidity, hedging, investments, cash analysis and forecasting. Tracks and maintains records related to funding, cash management, investment and hedging activities of the Treasury Department. This position monitors, analyzes and forecasts deposit trends.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage liquidity positions and forecasts, derivative and debt payments, deposit forecasts and monitor cash positions and rates. 10%
- Monitor bank relationships, perform admin functions on bank cash management systems, prepare paperwork to set up bank accounts, process treasury related wire transfers and monitor broker deposit interest payments. 10%
- Perform daily hedging, derivative, and investment activities including margin calls and collateral. 20%
- Perform stock sales, stock purchases, and manage stockholder activity and reports. 10%
- Complete or perform secondary review of monthly reports related to funding, investments, liquidity, and hedging activities. Create ad-hoc reports for treasury activities. Keep procedures up to date. 15%
- Manage and review interest rate indexes for loan systems. 5%
- Compile information for auditors, accounting, and other internal departments on review of Treasury’s records and trades. 10%
- Process invoices, order supplies, and distribute mail. 5%
- Review and collect vendor documentation. 5%
- Special projects and process improvements. 10%
Minimum Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's Degree in related field with 3-5 years of experience in Treasury or Capital Markets plus:
