Job Description
The Appraisal Review Analyst will support the Appraisal Department's Chief Appraiser in managing appraisal assignments, reviews, and appraiser ratings. The position is responsible for ensuring compliance with FIRREA, USPAP, and NCB appraisal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Appraisal Analysis and Review: Analyzes appraisal reports to ensure accuracy, contacts appraisers for clarification, and maintains knowledge of real estate market trends and appraisal methodology.
- Appraisal Ordering and Tracking: Orders appraisals, confirms acceptance, and ensures timely delivery of reports.
- Appraiser Tracking and Monitoring: Inputs appraiser scoring data, analyzes performance, and collects data for approval.
- Invoicing: Processes invoices from appraisers and resolves payment issues.
- Special Projects: Works on periodic special reports and analyses to assist the Chief Appraiser.
Minimum Qualifications:
- College degree in finance or related field, plus 1-3 years experience in real estate analysis and appraisal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
