About the Role
As an MST Therapist, you will work within an evidence-based, community-focused treatment model designed to support youth involved in the delinquency system and their families. Using well-researched approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavior modification, and family therapy modalities, you’ll help empower families with the skills and resources to build lasting success.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct in-home and community-based sessions.
- Perform assessments of family strengths and needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans following MST standards.
- Empower caregivers to independently address challenges and support youth in navigating family, school, peer, and neighborhood issues.
- Manage a flexible schedule tailored to family needs, including school meetings and court hearings.
Therapists typically carry a caseload of six clients and are supported by an experienced, collaborative team.
Compensation
- Competitive salary: starting at $51,920 to $55,280
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a mental health-related field.
- Licensed or license-eligible in Virginia.
