Position Overview
We are seeking Full-time and Part-time Outpatient Therapists to provide therapeutic services to individuals, families, and communities in the Newport News area. This role involves offering case management, crisis intervention, psychological evaluations, and wraparound team support. Whether you’re licensed, licensed-eligible, or a resident in counseling, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career.
Location: Newport News, VA
Key Responsibilities

Therapeutic Services:
- Provide case management services tailored to client needs.
- Conduct written service plans to establish and guide treatment objectives.
- Deliver crisis interventions to stabilize clients and support their mental health needs.

Assessment and Evaluation:

Conduct psychological and diagnostic assessments, including evaluations for behavioral health, substance abuse, and economic self-sufficiency.
- Facilitate wraparound team meetings to coordinate services and support networks for clients.

Collaboration and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of all services, assessments, and interventions.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive care.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related human services field.
- Licensure:
- Resident in Counseling, Supervisee, Licensed Eligible, or Fully Licensed in Virginia.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities with a client-centered approach.
