Position Overview
As the Director of Software Engineering, you will be an integral part of our executive team, reporting directly to the CEO. Key Responsibilities
- Strategically manage and enhance technological platforms, fostering partnerships and external business relationships.
- Critically evaluate, select, and oversee the implementation of technological solutions that align with our business needs.
- Lead and develop the tech team to design and deliver high-quality software solutions, including customer-facing applications and data analytics frameworks.
- Manage our technology roadmap, keeping it aligned with our strategic goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators and manage IT budgets to ensure optimal technology performance.
- Develop and maintain robust data security measures and disaster recovery plans.
- Keep abreast of technology trends, especially in the healthcare sector, and leverage these insights for business advancement.
- Design and implement ETL processes and data pipelines to efficiently manage large data volumes within Azure, enhancing data integration and availability for analytics and decision-making.
- Integrate machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies to optimize data processing, automate tasks, and deliver innovative solutions tailored to the healthcare industry.
Candidate Profile
- U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder.
- Proven leadership experience in a startup culture with experience in the healthcare or dental industry strongly preferred.
- Able to personally develop rapid prototypes demonstrating a concept in action.
- Extensive experience with JavaScript, React.js, Python, and familiarity with other modern software development technologies.
- Excellent leadership, team development, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor, emotional intelligence, and a good sense of humor.
- Outstanding communication skills and a strong desire to continually learn and share new technologies and best practices.
